The purpose of the 2026 KGBF Affiliate Grant Program is to offer financial assistance to Georgia’s Keep America Beautiful affiliates to attend trainings and conferences related to the missions of the Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation (KGBF) and Keep America Beautiful (KAB). 

All eligible applicants must be executive directors, staff members, or board members of a KAB affiliate in Georgia. The affiliate that you represent must be in good standing with KAB and a member of the Georgia Affiliate Network at the time of travel stipend application request. The affiliate that you represent must have completed all reports due (if applicable) at the time of travel stipend application request. This includes Chipper, Great American Cleanup, and KAB annual reports. Partial award amounts may be given for the 2025 KGBF Affiliate Travel Stipend. Awarded proceeds may only be used for conference registration and/or travel-related costs to attend a conference or training.

Known expenses:

• The conference registration fee is $300 per attendee, including all sessions and activities from 5:30pm on Tuesday, May 5 through mid-afternoon on Thursday, May 7 at the Andaz Savannah, by Hyatt hotel in Savannah, GA. 
• Hotel costs include run of house rooms for single King bed rooms at $269/night plus taxes and additional fees. Taxes and fees include: state and local taxes currently estimated at 15%; $5 Georgia Lodging Fee; $1 Downtown Historic Fee; applicable service fees; and/or hotel-specific fees. (Hotel amenities include: complimentary welcome beverage upon arrival; complimentary in-room sodas, water, and snacks replenished daily;  complimentary wireless internet access in guest rooms, public spaces,  and meeting rooms; complimentary local calls in guest rooms; complimentary access to fitness center, heated pool, and fire pit; full  service concierge service onsite.) 
• The state mileage rate is $ 0.70 per mile.

All applications must be submitted by Friday, February 27, 2026. Applications will be reviewed by a travel stipend committee and applicants will be notified by Thursday, March 5, 2026. Priority will be given to affiliates unable to send any representatives without the support of a stipend. 

The cutoff date for both the hotel room block and the conference registration is Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
